Baffa House Bed & Breakfast in Mar Mikhael, Beirut, Guesthouse in Beirut

The story behind Baffa House

Decades ago, Antonio, your host’s grandfather, an Italian who fell in love with a Lebanese, settled in Mar Mikhael, in a typical 1940’s house. More than half a century later, Samer decided to continue his family’s legacy in the neighbourhood and accommodate those who want to discover Beirut in a unique way. He called the place after his grandfather’s name: Baffa House.

Mar Mikhael is Beirut’s art and creative district, with some of the most interesting art galleries, bookshops and designer stores in town. In Mar Mikhael, even the public stairways are painted with the colours of the rainbow! The neighborhood is also ideally located, between Achrafieh, Gemmayzeh and Beirut’s ‘Little Armenia’ (Bourj Hammoud).
